Photo Clayne Benson, MD
Education: MD, Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, DC, 2004

Anesthesiology Critical Care Fellow Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center (WHMC)

Dr. Benson completed an anesthesiology residency at Vanderbilt, where he was involved in research involving SAH and vasospasm in a rabbit animal model, and has several other projects in development. Dr. Benson plans to practice critical care medicine along with the full scope of anesthesia including OB, acute pain, neuro, thoracic, and cardiac. He enjoys the challenges of complex cases and looks forward to service in the military. Dr. Benson completed his Anesthesiology/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at UTHSCSA in June 2009. He is currently working at the anesthesia department at Wilford Hall Medical Center and will relocating at the end of 2009 for active duty assignment with the Air Force at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany.

Dr. Bini completed his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1999. He completed his residency at UTHSCSA in 2004, and his surgical critical care fellowship at UTHSCSA in June, 2009. Dr. Bini is currently a general/Trauma surgeon at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. Dr. Bini has deployed twice to Iraq and is the Course Director for the Defense Military Readiness Training Institute's Emergency War Surgery Course. He joined the faculty in the Division of Trauma (part-time) in May, 2009.

Dr. Oh completed his general surgery residency in 2003 at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center. He then served two years at the 121st General Hospital in Seoul, Korea, and 3 years at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Ft. Hood, TX after graduation. In between, he has been assigned to the 745th Forward Surgical Team, deployed to OEF, and the 102nd Forward Surgical Team, deployed to OIF. Dr. Oh completed the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at UTHSCSA in June 2009. He is now faculty with the UTHSCSA- Dept of Surgery - Trauma Division and pursuing research at the Institute of Surgical Research at the Brooke Army Medical Center.
