Honors and Awards:
Biosketch: Abdul Alarhayem attended medical school at the Arabian Gulf University Bahrain where he topped his class for 6 consecutive years, attaining his degree in 2011. He worked as a research assistant at an Immunology lab for 3years, publishing his work in peer reviewed journals and winning an award for best scientist at a regional conference. Abdul has a great passion for teaching; having started a series of weekly lectures and exam reviews for fellow colleagues during his 2nd year of medical school. Future plans include possibly pursuing a cardiothoracic fellowship after residency. A big fan of desert trekking and camping; family plays a pivotal role in his life.
