Biosketch: Dr. Rai graduated from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the premier medical institute of India. He underwent his postgraduate surgical training in India. He worked for a brief period in NHS, UK before starting residency in U.S.A. He has also worked in rural areas of India where he provided primary care to the population. His other interests include cooking and listening to music.
