Biosketch: Dr. Vazquez was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico where she pursued a BS Biology at the Pontifical Catholic University. She obtained her medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine and is currently completing her chief year of General Surgery at UTHSCSA. In June 2010, she will be starting a one-year fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During her free time she enjoys mountain biking and cinematography.
