Welcome to the UTHSCSA Emergency Medicine Student Association website.

The Emergency Medical Student Association (EMSA), under the supervision of the faculty of the Division of Emergency Medicine, is an educational association created to foster the development and growth of medical students at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

EMSA will disseminate pertinent information among the Membership and work to further the interests of our membership by promoting participation in Division of Emergency Medicine events and affairts, as well as departmental affairs. Activities shall include, but are not limited to, the AirLife Ride-Along program, guest speakers, workshops, residency interview preparation, Emergency Medicine Enrichment Elective, and social events. EMSA will work cooperatively and collaboratively with the faculty members of the Division of Emergency Medicine and the Department of Surgery to achieve these goals.
