About our program: The Emergency Medical Services / Prehospital Medicine Fellowship at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio and the San Antonio Fire Department is a one-year program designed to give participants the clinical and academic background in emergency medical services necessary to make a successful transition from residency or clinical practice to Medical Director of an EMS system. This program meets the requirements to qualify for the board certification exam in prehospital emergency care.
