Georges Haidar M.D, is Assistant Professor, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and at University Hospital San Antonio.
His clinical interests are focused on complex open and endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, carotid disease, lower extremity arterial disease and vena cava thrombectomy and reconstruction in the setting of Renal Cell Cancer.
Dr. Haidar is a graduate of the University of Balamand where he received his medical degree. Thereafter he completed his general surgery residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore MD. He then pursued a vascular surgery fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA under the supervision of Satish Muluk M.D. He currently is board certified in General and Vascular Surgery. Thereafter he joined the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio as assistant professor of Vascular and Endovascular surgery. He was also appointed the title of Medical Director of Vascular Testing.
