Biosketch: Dr. Dent completed his medical degree at the University of South Florida and his residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis; his residency included an additional year of training in research. He joined the faculty in 1996 and has received numerous teaching excellence awards. Dr. Dent's research focus is in trauma and surgical infection.
