Biosketch: Dr. Mehta graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine in 2000. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. Dr. Mehta was an active core faculty member from 2004-2008 and created the emergency medicine bedside ultrasound training program for SAUSHEC Emergency Medicine Residency Program. He also served as the director of emergency medicine ultrasound training program for the BAMC Emergency Medicine Residency Program from 2004-2008. He is currently a partner and Board of Directors of Greater San Antonio Emergency Physicians as well as their director of Education and Ultrasound. He is married to Tania and has one son and spends his free time running, hiking and just about anything as long as it is outdoors.
