Biosketch: Dr. Mueller received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her residency training at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After completing a Critical Care Fellowship in 1998 at UT Southwestern, Dr. Mueller joined the faculty at Wilford Hall Medical Center. She has recently retired from the US Air Force, but while at Wilford Hall, Dr. Mueller held the positions of Medical Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Vice Chairman for the Department of General Surgery. Her research interests include blood transfusion, ventilator associated pneumonia, and end-of-life care.
