Biosketch: Dr. Robertson received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1981. He completed his residency in general surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. This included a year at the Institute of Surgical Research burn center. He completed his Critical Care Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center in 1992. He next completed his Fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery at the New England Medical Center Boston Floating Hospital in 1995. He is the founding member of San Antonio Pediatric Surgery Associates. Dr. Robertson is board-certified in general and pediatric surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association. He currently serves as the Chief of Staff and as the Chief of Surgery at the Methodist Children's Hospital.
