Boulos Toursarkissian, MD, is Associate Professor and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery in the Department of Surgery, UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, where he also completed his residency in General Surgery. Dr. Toursarkissian completed his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He completed an Endovascular Fellowship at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire, Sainte Etienne, France. Dr. Toursarkissian is board certified in both General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He joined the Division of Vascular Surgery in 1998 and was named Chief of Vascular Surgery in 2000. Dr. Toursarkissian's current interests include endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms and carotid stenosis.
